Any good hunter horses for sale in Texas?

I'm 14 and looking for a hunter horse. I have shown a lot in the past. Due to my bad luck in the horse-buying market (I bought a horse with UVitus, he's now blind), I've only been showing a project horse in walk/trot divisions. I need a horse that's at least 15hh, and can jump 3 feet. I'll be starting of in the 2'3'; class, so it's alright if the horse isn't continuously jumping above 3 feet. But it does need to have that potential. I don't have much money to spend either, so I can only afford something around the $6,000 range. Does anyone know of any horses near theHouston area that are for sale that could fit this description?Any good hunter horses for sale in Texas?

average price $5,500.00 and you would not call that person. it appears to me that 90% of the kids on here looking for horses aren't really looking.

I wish I knew or had a horse for you considering I live around the same place and am going to be 16 on the upcomming Friday. I would check out the site equine.com for some horses. I haven't bought a horse from their yet but a few of my friends have and I've seen lots of nice horses there. I'm actually going to start lessons soon with my 17hh western horse but everyone I e-mail has a hard time ever e-mailing me back. I hope I've helped some.

I put in 8000 dollars instead of 6000 because most owners will lower the price to the right home. I got my horse for nearly half of the original asking price.
