yeah right now dear i don't think you have any clue of the cost of maintaining a horse. hay has gone up so very much in the last few years it is almost impossible to afford hay, and board.
Also if you look around becasue of the high cost of keeping a horse right now you might be able to find a free or next to free horse. Where I live in Missouri people are giving away horses left and right because of the costs.
An appy isnt going to be as tall as you are liking and really a slim chance of it being trained to jump. a throughbred, QH or Arab are going to be more likely
a hand is 4 inches so i think you mean 14.1 to 15.1 but asks your parents. Personally if your parents would let you get a horse have them check with a local stable to see if a more experienced person will help you judge what you find. Papers are great as well as typing in your state and horse for sale....but I reallythink you parents should handle it because no one will take you serious.
