You say you are looking for a horse to buy in Indiana, and yet you also have said you want to start an anti horse slaughter website. I think you need to get educated before you buy anything, or you will just be contributing yourself to the problem you are supposedly trying to solve. Trying to find a horse at that price is going to be a problem- and once you get it, where are you going to keep it, and who is going to pay for the feed and care it requires?? You sound like a kid to me, and one who really needs to take some lessons and learn some things before you buy or commit yourself to taking care of a horse. 13 hands is a mighty small animal- only 3 feet tall at the withers. Are you short enough that you won't outgrow such an animal, Lulu? Do your parents know about these dreams of yours? That's what I think you are really doing, is dreaming.

Think about it. BTW: I was raised in Indiana, near West Lafayette, which is where Purdue University is located. If all else fails, you might be able to get a horse by contacting one of the vets at the vet school there, or perhaps one of the students. Just a thought.

consider reading a book, or learning about horses. Owning a horse is not as simple as owning one, you must be responsible for its life.

they're great sites...i have my horse posted for sale on them..
If you search ';horses for sale in Indiana'' (on Yahoo! or Google, or another search engine) you should get a bunch of listings. I search ';horses for sale in Connecticut'; and I get a bunch.
take a look at these, theres one for five hundred

but your not going to get very much horse for that small amount of money.

sorry.
