The horse has to be suitable for a beginner and at least 14hh.The horse will be used for my daughter's 4-H events.We have 2 other horses to keep him/her company. Please NO STALLIONS. We have tried adoption sites but they just don't seem to be right for us. We don't like to have deadlines and we don't want to not even own the horse for 5 years.

Check out http://www.craigslist.org/about/cities.h鈥?/a> for both areas. Look at the ads in the Pets section. There are often horses advertised in my state, and I bet it will be the same for other areas!
