Hi, I have seen a lot of nice looking horses on the internet and checked quite a few - be sure the place has a good reputation. If you find one, might want to check with your farrier and/or vet to be sure they are reputable facility.

In Canada they breed horses for Premarin, which is a drug for menopause. There are thousands of young mares, most of which are kept pregnant because they use urine from pregnant horses to make the drug. You can adopt/rescue the mares from the farms and bring them to the US to train and ride. Many of these horses are draft breeds but they are perfectly good horses who are abused and have miserable lives. Help them first!
